Jaime Fernandez-Pita is Managing Partner in the Advisory team having joined the company as Managing Director in 2016.
Prior to AltamarCAM, he worked 12 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was Director of the Corporate and Research and Investments Banking division, in charge of the coverage of clients mainly in the infrastructure, services, consumer and retail, media, real estate and private equity industries. Previously, Jaime worked at Mercer Management Consulting (currently Oliver Wyman). Jaime has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, including the sale of Endesa’s Latin American operations to Enel, Flightcare (FCC) to Swissport (PAI Partners), Grupo Guascor to Dresser-Rand, Palacios Alimentación to ProA Capital, WDFG to Autogrill and SCYMA (U. Fenosa) to Applus, the acquisition of Panrico by Bimbo, Campofrío by Sigma Alimentos, Continental Auto by Alsa (NX), the investment by Hamad Al Thani in El Corte Inglés, and the Adwen JV between Gamesa and Areva, amongst others. Additionally, Jaime has been involved in the initial public offerings of Telepizza Group, World Duty Free and Galp Energia, capital increases of Gamesa and National Express, and block trade of EADS shares by SEPI. Jaime has also participated in financing transactions with Colonial, Ferrovial, and Telepizza, and in several bond issuances by Red Eléctrica, Ferrovial and Isolux.
Jaime has a degree in Law and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE (E-3) and completed the Research and Investments Banking Institute Program at Wharton.
