Ignacio is Partner in the Private Equity Investment team, which he joined when the company was founded in 2004. Since then, Ignacio has been actively involved in different areas of the team and the firm, with a special focus on the execution of primary, secondary and co-investment investments. Since 2010 he has led the primary investment effort in Asia and has led or co-led the primary investment effort in Europe.
Prior to joining Altamar PE, Ignacio worked at Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance, today Alpha Corporate (Deloitte), in the mergers and acquisitions team. He focused on technology, media and telecommunications transactions in the Madrid office. Subsequently, Ignacio worked at Ambers&Co, spin out from Arthur Andersen’s M&A team in Madrid which today forms part of E&Y. Previously, Ignacio completed an internship at Johnson & Johnson (Madrid) and at Santander Investment (London).
Ignacio holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CUNEF.
