Pilar Junco is Managing Partner and Co-Chief Client Officer, responsible for the firm’s internationalisation and client expansion, and a member of the firm’s Management Committee.
Prior to joining AltamarCAM, Pilar spent 13 years at Blackstone, most recently as Senior Managing Director and head of the non-US (EMEA & APAC) Private Wealth Management and Retail business. Prior to this, she ran the institutional business in Europe and was COO for the firm’s private equity team in Europe. Prior to that, she worked at the Boston Consulting Group in London, JP Morgan in London and New York and the Financial Times.
She holds an MBA from INSEAD and is a graduate of University College London (B.Sc. in Economics) and the University of Siegen (Germany). She has organised and led several RM training courses, roadshows and client meetings for private banks around the world, with a focus on the private markets.
