Andreas Schmidt is Managing Partner, 16 years with AltamarCAM Partners has more than 23 years of private equity experience.
He joined AltamarCAM Partners (or its predecessor companies) in 2006, originally in the investment team and later as CEO of DB Private Equity. Prior to that, he worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. Andreas Schmidt began his career as an assistant to the Executive Board at the Gerling Group (now Talanx), where he later assumed responsibility for private equity investments as an investment manager.
He studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
