On the 27th of October AltamarCAM Partners hosted its 8th Annual Alternative Investments Seminar, which was aimed at the firm’s Latin American investor base and featured presentations by the company’s top executives. More than 100 investors attended the session, which took place in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Las Condes, Santiago de Chile, and was hosted and moderated by Diana Huidobro, Managing Director of AltamarCAM Chile.
Claudio Aguirre, Co-Chairman of AltamarCAM, welcomed the participants and offered an overview of the evolution and highlights of the firm.
Presentations by José Luis Molina, CEO, and Miguel Zurita, Managing Partner and co-Head of Private Equity, focused on the current market situation and opportunities in Private Equity, analysing the latest sector trends and the rise of secondaries as a solution to the liquidity needs of investors.
The next section was devoted to Venture Capital. Roque Velasco, founder of Galdana Ventures, shared Galdana’s view on the Venture Capital market, levels of activity and notable deals. Overall it was a high-quality, insightful event that garnered very positive feedback from our Latin American investors and affirmed our position as a leading firm in the region.
