Analyst - Risk & Compliance

Job Description: Main Functions

  • Analysis of current regulations and regulatory changes.
  • Support in the design and implementation of policies, procedures and controls.
  • Monitoring of compliance with applicable policies and procedures through the controls implemented and reporting of incidents, as well as follow-up of recommendations or proposed improvements.
  • Support in the coordination of internal audit and external expert requests and in the follow-up of possible recommendations or proposed improvements.
  • Review of presentations and marketing materials.
  • Support in complying with internal procedures related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.
  • Support in monitoring the integrated risk management (ERM) system.
  • Support in tasks related to data protection.
  • Support in the preparation of documentation for internal committees and supervisory bodies.
  • Support in the preparation and execution of internal training and awareness plan.
  • Support for FATCA and CRS related obligations.

 

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration or Law.
  • Experience of up to 2 years in Compliance, Risk Management or Internal Audit departments is a plus.
  • Good academic record.
  • A high level of English is essential.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft package (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.) and knowledge of office automation tools.
  • Knowledge of regulations applicable to financial institutions will be an asset.
  • Soft skills: ability to work and communicate with multiple teams, organization, proactivity, analytical and learning skills and attention to detail.
