The 5th Private Assets Investment Conference and 17th Annual Meeting of AltamarCAM Partners´ Funds was held on June 7th, together with the Investors´ Meeting of Altan Capital / AltamarCAM Real Estate and AltamarCAM Credit Funds. The sessions were held in UZalacain La Finca, Madrid, and were also broadcasted. Claudio Aguirre and Rolf Wickenkamp, co-chairmen of AltamarCAM, welcomed the participants with an overview of the evolution and highlights of the firm in 2021 and 2022.
José Luis Molina, CEO of the firm, made a presentation about the current situation and opportunities in private markets, a matter which was also addressed by Jon Gray, Blackstone President & COO, who was introduced by Pilar Junco, Chief Client Officer of AltamarCAM.
The ESG perspective was in the core of the presentations of the heads of the firm´s businesses, Ignacio Antoñanzas and Fernando Olaso (Real Assets), Rodrigo Echenique and José María Fernández (Private Credit), Marcel Rafart (Venture Capital), Montserrat Vendrell (Life Sciences) and Miguel Zurita (Private Equity).
The meeting also included presentations by other key executives of the industry, like Claus Mathisen, CEO of NREP, who spoke about “ESG and real estate investing: from purpose to profit”, and Carl Fritjofsson, General Partner of Creandum, who shared insights regarding “Diverse participation in VC”.
Paloma Ybarra, partner and Relationship Manager, was in charge of the closing remarks.
