AltamarCAM Partners, a global asset management firm focused on investing in private markets, has appointed Alexander Duckwitz as Managing Director within the Investor Relations team.
With the build-out of the investor relations team in Germany, AltamarCAM Partners is reacting to its strong growth trajectory in recent years. In the coming months, the European firm will continue to expand its platform with additional products and investment solutions. The aim is to further establish AltamarCAM Partners as an independent, partner-led asset manager and holistic solutions provider in the private markets space.
“At AltamarCAM, Alexander will be responsible for the build-out of the institutional client segment in Germany and work closely with the European team to enhance client coverage and strategic partnerships across Europe. Alexander Duckwitz joins from the infrastructure boutique IKAV Group, where he was Head of Client Solutions. He began his career in the consulting practice at PwC in 2009, where he led a variety of projects in the insurance and asset management sectors, before spending six years at Allianz Global Investors, where he was responsible for Insurance Advisory in the EMEA region. Duckwitz holds a master’s degree in international business from Maastricht University.
Earlier this year, Johannes von Gumppenberg (formerly IBG Monforts) and Maximilian Sigl (formerly VALORESS Strategy Consulting) joined the Investor Relations team in Cologne.
