Ramón Hermosilla is a managing director and co-head of the real estate department at AltamarCAM Partners. He is responsible for the strategy and execution of investments in residential, multifamily, senior living and hospitality properties. He has been involved in the origination, structuring and management of numerous real estate transactions in Spain and internationally, with a total value of over €1 billion. These transactions cover the full cycle, from acquisition and development to commercialisation.
Mr Hermosilla has held management positions in entities in which AltamarCAM has a stake, including his role as a board member of Wellness Resorts SOCIMI, S.A., a company focused on developing and operating preventive medicine resorts in Spain. He has also held positions on the boards of other specialised real estate investment platforms. He also supports the firm’s international expansion efforts, particularly enhancing AltamarCAM’s presence in Mexico.
Alongside his role at AltamarCAM, Mr Hermosilla is the founder and managing partner of Terralpa, a Madrid-based residential developer specialising in the repositioning and development of ultra-prime projects in prime city-centre locations. Since its establishment, Terralpa has become a leading player in the Spanish luxury market, attracting international co-investors and delivering distinctive projects in prime locations.
He previously held executive positions at leading Spanish and Mexican real estate groups such as La Finca and Grupo Carso, gaining experience in large-scale urban and residential projects.
Mr Hermosilla holds a Business Administration degree from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, a Law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s in Strategy and Leadership of New Enterprises from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
