Derek is a partner and co-head of private equity at AltamarCAM Partners, based in New York. He joined the firm as a managing director in 2016. As well as his investment responsibilities, he directs the investment strategy and is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing private equity investments across primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities.
Prior to joining AltamarCAM, Derek worked at PineBridge Investments and its predecessor, AIG, where he was responsible for private equity investments worldwide. He began his career at Greenwich Associates, where he supported institutional asset managers on a global basis.
Derek holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Economics from Colby College.
