Carlos Esteban has worked at Altamar CAM Partners since 2013, where he is currently Managing Director and co-head of the real estate department. Since joining the firm, he has been involved in numerous real estate transactions across different sectors and geographies. He has been responsible for sourcing, analysing, negotiating and fundraising, as well as executing and selling assets, with a total value of over €1.2 billion. He has also held various management roles in entities in which AltamarCAM has a stake, including serving on the investment committee of Elix Vintage Residential SOCIMI, S.A. This is a publicly traded real estate company that focuses on aggregating, refurbishing, leasing and selling a portfolio of 22 residential buildings in the city centres of Madrid and Barcelona, in partnership with KKR.
Mr Esteban is currently a member of the board of directors of Wellness Resorts SOCIMI, S.A., a company focused on developing and operating a preventive medicine resort in southern Spain, which is leased to a leading operator. He is also a member of the board of directors of Elix Rental Housing SOCIMI II, S.A., a company focused on acquiring, refurbishing and leasing an institutional-quality portfolio of rental housing buildings, mainly in Madrid. Prior to joining AltamarCAM, Mr Esteban worked in the Strategy and Business Development Department at Exolum (formerly Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos), a global oil and gas midstream company. There, he participated in analysing investment opportunities across the US and Canada. Mr Esteban holds a Business Administration degree from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-2).
